Is MZPanel only for WordPress?

No. MZPanel runs websites, Docker apps & compose stacks, databases, git deploys and AI endpoints. WordPress is one supported workload among many.

Do I need to open ports on my VPS?

No. The agent dials outbound to MZPanel over HTTPS:443 — nothing inbound, NAT-friendly, no exposed panel port.

How many servers can I manage?

From 1 (free) up to 25 on Max — and higher with extra server slots — all from a single login. It’s a managed control plane, not a single-box panel, so most competitors charge extra for multi-server.

Where does my data and source code live?

On your server. The control plane stores metadata (users, servers, licenses, audit log) — never your site files or databases. Your source and data stay on the box you own.

Can I still SSH in and use the CLI?

Yes. Every VPS ships the mz CLI. The panel and command line are parallel, non-exclusive modes over the same engine — ssh in and type mz site create example.com any time.

Am I locked in?

No. You keep root; the stack is standard nginx / Docker / databases. Uninstall the agent any time and everything keeps running on your server.
